Thank you! Barbara, I start with a fine point pen (.01) and then color with marker or colored pencil. Then later I re-ink it all with a .07 millimeter tip pen.
If I’m sketching a scene or object (as opposed to drawing from within my mind’s eye), I don’t re-ink. I use different size points to denote shading and so on. I’m completely amateur and self-taught, so I just experiment. 🙂
