There was something about the actual moment that the flimsy-looking wheels left earth, seeing the space between ground and the craft itself enlarge, that dazzled him, filled him with a sense he could never have described, not in the language of his mother and father or in the language of his schoolmates; it was a wordless, wild, tremendous, unbearably physical release of tension that left him almost in tears.

Kathryn, you are an angel! Everytime you visit my blog you leave some of your fairy dust to keep me going. Thank you so much for your kind comments. I feel really flattered that a real artist is taking the pains to visit me. Have a great weekend,
Esther
I enjoy every bit of your site every day. Your thoughts, and thoughts of others that you share, stop me in my tracks on many, many occasions.
The still life is wonderful and deep. Wow. I can’t believe you have not been using this medium all along. You seem to have the expertise built into your DNA. The depth of color is lovely. All your AEM projects are great.
Thank you for encouraging me in my little attempts at the artful life. Believe me, if I had not made the commitment for the month, I probably would have stopped on the first day, yelling, “I have no talent!!! I can’t do anything” (even though I persist in buying art supplies). But, here I am stretching, and it feels soooooo good!
