I slept 12 hours last night, but today I don’t feel so well. Shaky, tired, spacy, slightly queasy. So I decided today’s effort would be simple. It echoes (a bit) something Kat drew a couple days ago (not copying, honest!). I don’t know what prompted it, or what it “means” to me. It’s just a doodle. The drawing feels stark to me, like something is missing. But I created; that’s what counts.

Echoes are cool! I love to see themes and patterns; between individual works that people do, between people within communities.
Now I want to draw trees.
But maybe later, there are a couple of things bouncing around my head that need to get out first.
yes, i agree, echoes are very cool! please do not worry about the idea of copying. all art bounces from somewhere and anything you make is still uniquely yours. i like the little birdie in the tree. and i do hope you’re feeling better soon. xoxox
