There are offers of free housing at Craigslist for those affected by Katrina. These offers are coming from all over the U.S., from Cortland, NY to Whidbey Island, WA.
The next task is to get this information to evacuees who likely don’t have access to the Internet.
This evident compassion heartens me.
I will talk in a child or teenager that is without their parents or family until they can be located. Please, let me know what I can do. I have a nice size home, and three of my boys grew up and moved out already. I,now, only have one boy home with me. So, if I can give a child a place to secure them some, it would be my pleasure.
