Abuddha
Late at night alone
I sit listening
to the tock tock tock
of raindrops dancing rooftop.
The patter of rain
drapes like a blanket
over night’s shoulders —
rhythmic murmured lullaby.
This moment, awake.
And this one. Now this.
This moment too, eternal.
