It’s Grrrrrrreat!

For a couple days I was technology-free, as my husband installed Mac OS X Tiger on my laptop. Now I can play with the nifty features.

During the installation, I’ve whiled away time by meeting friends for drinks after work yesterday, tending my garden, reading, and napping.

When action grows unprofitable, gather information. When information grows unprofitable, sleep.

–Ursula K. LeGuin, The Left Hand of Darkness, 1969

    . . . I am loving tiger . . . am deeply enamored of the weather widget . . . since I don’t have a tv – I can easily now know how to dress for the day 🙂 I soooo love the practicality of macs . . . 🙂

hello: i just bought a mac — ibook G4 — and i’m loving life. it’s my first mac and i feel like i’ve stepped into another world. lot’s of friends own them and i’ve always wanted to know why. no one could ever tell me. but now that i own one i think it’s the practicality that makes it so truly lovely. makes my husband’s gateway feel like a dinosaur. enjoy!
