You’re right on, again. I couldn’t agree more.
Absolutely. I attended my early morning class, I’ve will spend some time in reflection and then I’ll spend the rest of the day with my family and neighbors at a block party.
The TV is off, no radio, no newspaper.
I haven’t had a TV most of my adult life and I find that I am even more informed on current events than most. TV for the most part fails to place any event within a meaningful context. And of course it’s an awful picture–to think of ourselves plopped down in front of this glowing screen, hynotized like a frog in the beam of a flashlight.
Well put, Kathryn. It’s not just today, it’s been a week long assault.
I just want to say that I’ve been coming here for the last few days and I love your entries in this blog. Thank you so much for posting them. They are thought – and heart – provoking.
I’ve added a link to your blog on mine, please visit if you want.
