How To Bathe The Cat
- Clean toilet thoroughly.
- Lift both lids and add shampoo.
- Find and soothe cat as you carry him to bathroom.
- In one swift move, place cat in toilet and close both lids, standing on top so cat cannot escape.
- Cat will self-agitate, producing ample suds (ignore ruckus from inside toilet — cat is enjoying this).
- Flush toilet 3 or 4 Times. This provides an effective power rinse. Do not be concerned – cat is too large to go anywhere.
- Have someone open the outside door then stand as far back from toilet as possible and quickly lift the lids.
- Clean cat will rocket out of the toilet and straight outdoors where he will air dry. Cat will return when hungry.

I have a similar procedure, but first you put the cat in a delicate-wash-bag (you know, the kind for bras). This keeps the cat from escaping from the toilet. It also allows for more delicate agitation if your feline requires delicate wash 😉
