Ever try any of Martha’s tricks? I was watching her today. She made babka with her dead mom. And dyed eggs, wrapped pieces of lace and other material around them then soaked them in dyes and achieved some really cool effects.
Your eggs remind me of the Easter that we, my brothers and me, were too old to believe in the Easter bunny but my mother insisted we dye eggs anyway. My older brother was already um, rebelling, and he took crayons and wrote stuff like “the bunny is dead” and drew pictures of beheaded rabbits on all the eggs before he dunked them in dye.
Needless to say, that was the last year we dyed eggs.
