Guess who has a tiny pointy corner of a tooth poking through her lower gum?
I don’t know how long it will take to completely erupt, but I felt it, and I hear it click when she bites down on her hard plastic toys. She’s pretty cheerful though, so maybe it doesn’t hurt. (Maybe they ache more before they erupt and once the skin is broken it just feels good to chew. I remember having braces, and the deep ache new wires would cause.)

Awww. Just in time to eat chocolates š
remember me?
i’ve been on a bit of a break, but back. nice to find you thriving!
Hi Theo! Good to see you back!
I swear, she looks completely different in every photograph you post of her.
Are you aware, day to day, of how much she’s changing?
I know that must seem like an odd question. But sometimes, when you’re in the thick of your own life, the thing (person,, relationship, situation) right in front of you seems to stay the same until one morning you wake up and realize how much that thing (person, relationship, situation) has changed, and how much it is changing.
great blog! thanks very much for sharing!
Hey Laurel, I understand the question. I do try every day to pay attention. I’ve decided that this is in fact my spiritual practice. I want to savor each day with her, and I steer my attention back any time I start thinking about the future (her next milestone, etc.) or am tempted to worry.
Ah, teeth. Hopefully she’ll get her first set without too much trauma.
Babycakes is showing just the faintest view of her first permanent tooth, and boy is she pround of it!
