These envelopes are painted with watercolor, and they’ll be donated to a non-profit that will use them for donation request letters. I wasn’t feeling very inspired, but I fulfilled my commitment to make art. Good ’nuff for me.

I was inducted into the meaning of “join, being careful not to twist sts” this morning. In other words, I learned how to knit in the round. I have homework — to knit the first half of the hat until I need to start shaping. Next week I’ll learn how to do that shaping by using double-pointed needles. Finally, I’ll knit something not rectangular! 🙂
