Taking Its Time

garden chair

A corner of my parents’ garden, 2005

Working in a garden… gives me a profound feeling of inner peace. Nothing here is in a hurry. There is no rush toward accomplishment, no blowing of trumpets. Here is the great mystery of life and growth. Everything is changing, growing, aiming at something, but silently, unboastfully, taking its time.

Your photo brings me a quiet piece of mind. The foilage in it’s bright and living colors and the contrast of the broken and worn chair — gives meaning to parts of my life. How both pieces fit together in harmony and compliment the whole!

Thanks for sharing your talents in your blog. You brightened my day.

I hope that you are enjoying your AW experience.
