Dear Everyone Who Reads This Blog,
I’m wondering if you might be willing and able to help with a creative request. I have a little project in mind to send postcards to people who don’t expect them. I want to send short greetings that give a moment’s pause or a smile.
But I need postcards. Blank postcards. If you have any such items hanging around unused, and you don’t have any intention to use them, I would love to receive what you’ve got. It doesn’t matter what decoration is on the card. I would simply like to have a bunch. Since I don’t travel much, I don’t have opportunity to get them from different places.
If you’re interested in helping out, contact me by email and I’ll send you my snail mail address. My email address is kathryn at pobox dot com.

You write that you don’t care what decoration is on the card, but you also write that you don’t have a chance to travel and get cards, which makes it sound to me that you do want cards of places, not random things. Let me know, cause I got cards! 🙂
Oh goodie! No, I would love cards of places or things (photos, facsimiles of fine art, cartoon drawings, buildings, scenery, color, black & white). It’s just that I think of getting postcards most often then I travel. I haven’t found any cool card shops that sell neat postcards, except Barnes & Noble, which wants $1.00 per card. Seems a bit steep.
I’ll keep an eye out for some unique ones (like local interest). If I were more ambitious (and didn’t have my own Huge Project coming up), I’d make some for you.
