The Artist’s Way: Lost

High tide came when I started my job, and most everything else in my life has been submerged, including the creativity exploration. *sigh*

I’m hanging on to the idea of exploring The Artist’s Way, but that’s all I’ve managed.

This is not a complaint — just acknowledgement of what is. I’ve not even been able to keep up with other people taking the journey. So many are listed at Kat’s blog, too many to read.

After Thursday’s long day, I worked half a day today, since I am also working tomorrow. I came home at 2:00 p.m. and lay down for “just a little while.” Four hours later I awoke. Tomorrow I’m being trained to provide training to new project leaders. But… I have Sunday and Monday off. My goals for these days: to go to social knitting on Sunday; to work out; to make some art on Monday; to clean the kitchen; to get groceries. And a few other things will be squeezed in there. Then I’m back to work on Tuesday — into the fray. On February 26-28 I’ll be in Phoenix for a conference. And bang! It’ll be March.

Makes me tired just thinking about it. Without further ado, then, I’m off to get more sleep.

The journey has been difficult more me too. I have been playing a lot of catch up. Working on preparing myself for a promotion and getting not only my house but the rest of my family ready for this baby (only 7 more weeks left) really has made this difficult.

    Rest is good… very good.
