Meg, of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mandarindesign.com\/blogger.html\">Mandarin Design Daily<\/a>, is recovering from some physical issues.  And she&#8217;s boooooooored.  She invited folks to send her a postcard, and being a penpal at heart, I did.  She posted it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mandarindesign.com\/2005_05_01_archive.html#111703065111375307\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The postcard I sent was a print of a collage honoring the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greatwomen.org\/home.php\">National Women&#8217;s Hall of Fame<\/a> and the birthplace of the women&#8217;s rights in Seneca Falls, New York.  (You know, where <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greatwomen.org\/women.php?action=viewone&#038;id=149\">Elizabeth Cady Stanton<\/a> lived, as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greatwomen.org\/women.php?action=viewone&#038;id=13\">Susan B. Anthony<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greatwomen.org\/women.php?action=viewone&#038;id=20\">Elizabeth Blackwell<\/a>.)  I grew up in Syracuse, not far from there, and spent a lot of time in the Finger Lakes region growing up.  I have relatives in Seneca Falls, and I&#8217;ve always felt some pride that my roots are woven with such history.  If you&#8217;re curious to read the document that initiated the movement, you can read the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fordham.edu\/halsall\/mod\/Senecafalls.html\">Declaration of Sentiments<\/a>.
