I&#8217;ve posted my results (lengthy) below. Here&#8217;s what you do:<\/p>\n<p>A. Go to http:\/\/www.musicoutfitters.com.<br \/>\nB. Enter the year you graduated from high school in the search function.<br \/>\nC. Bold for the songs you like, strike through the ones you hate and underline your favorite. Do nothing to the ones you don&#8217;t remember (or don&#8217;t care about).<\/p>\n<p>As I went through this list, I was appalled at the drivel that achieved chart placement back then. Andy Gibbs? Gary U.S. Bonds? Air Supply? Gross. Of course, I liked some songs that <em>were<\/em> drivel (you&#8217;ll see). I was hard-pressed to remember many of them. And the one I chose as my favorite probably wasn&#8217;t, but I do remember liking that band a lot; I owned their album. There <em>was<\/em> really good music then; Ricki Lee Jones, <cite>Pirates<\/cite>; Genesis, <cite>Abacab<\/cite>; Phil Collins, <cite>Face Value<\/cite>; and Joe Walsh, <cite>There Goes the Neighborhood<\/cite> come to mind.
