The Throne

The next step up from “the bucket” we had her in. This is another sign of change, of Claire growing up.

new throne

We call it a throne because she sits so high up, so now she can see the world roll by, and because it cost a pretty penny (although we think she’ll be able to use this until age five or six or 65 lbs.)

Oh, how they grow. And how happy they are to turn around and see where they are going.

Oh, I remember going through that transition with my children! It was so bittersweet. I have to say that Claire’s thrown looks so much more cozy than what was available 9 years ago! She looks so happy too.

    Peace!

We have had our new seat not more than six months and it is already broken! We took it with us for a trip and it did great until the taxi ride home. It wouldn’t fit that great in the trunk and the taxi driver really slammed the trunk on it and now the styrofoam siding is broken (but we are still using it.) Damn… that thing cost over 200 dollars and now we need a new one. And I hate throwing the old one in the landfill. Such is life in our hyper-mobile world.
