    Actually, as a Texan transplanted in California, I can say the people here link Texas with big hair and the Bush brigade. Fake cowboys ad pickup trucks is so yesterday and actually, now, a huge demographic in California.

    Yeah Steph, I can relate to the perspective. I lived in Austin for 10 years (which certainly isn’t representative of Texas!). I wish more people thought of feisty Molly Ivins when they think of Texas.
