Another Bowl, Only Larger
Amazing. This:

Someone suggested that I should take orders and sell these. Hmmm.
Finished size: 3.5 inches tall x 5.5 inches diameter (18.5 inches circumference). Made with two strands held together of a skein of Cascade 220 (220 yards, 100% wool) and a two strands held together of a ball of Crystal Palace Aran Marl (102 yards, 100% wool, color 3005) on size 15 circular 24" needles and size 15 dpns. Used the pattern from One Skein.

That is beautiful and somehow reminds me of a little birds’ nest. I wonder if you put it up in a tree if it would be adopted? The bird family would be the envy of the neighborhood.

I agree with the suggestion that you think about selling them. They’re really beautiful. What a lovely shape and texture - such an interesting accessory for a room.

acm - I block it by fitting it over the outside of a bowl I already have. Usually felted things should not be put in the dryer because you want to manually shape them and let them air dry.
