    I just love your stuff. I’d been feeling like slitting my throat all morning and then I saw this and now I just feel so much better.

    I still can’t understand how one human can produce so much, however. :)

    Yes, I’ve been reading your blog and noticing your intense depression… I have had those too. I once went on a media diet and stopped reading books about topics that hurt. The break helped. And I didn’t become a cultural ignoramus — bits of news are in the zeitgesit of daily life.

    As for creating, I do it because I need to. You should see my kitchen. It would scare you. Actually, my whole abode is pretty fuzzy and in dire need of vacuuming. But that’s not what I want to do with my limited free time, and so I don’t. :)
